Type your ingredients
List anything in your fridge or pantry: chicken, eggs, tomatoes, leftover pasta. One ingredient per line or comma-separated.
We match every recipe
Our finder scans the full NutriForks recipe library and ranks results by how many of your ingredients each dish uses.
Cook what you already have
Pick a recipe, follow the tested step-by-step guide, and have dinner on the table. No shopping trip needed.
Cook more with what you already have
The best way to find recipes using ingredients you have is to start right here. The NutriForks recipe finder scans our full library and surfaces every dish you can actually make tonight, with no substitutions and no missing items. Whether you have leftover chicken, half an onion, or a pantry stocked with pasta, just type your ingredients and we do the matching.
Every recipe on NutriForks is built from scratch with real measurements, step-by-step instructions, accurate cook times, and a complete nutrition breakdown per serving. No AI-generated guesswork, just food that actually works.

Reduce food waste, one meal at a time
Roughly one-third of all food produced globally is wasted, and most of that waste happens in the home, in the fridge, between grocery runs. Using a recipe finder by ingredients is one of the most practical ways to close that gap. Instead of throwing out a wilting bunch of spinach or a block of cheese that’s nearly past its best, you find recipes using ingredients you have before they go bad.
The NutriForks ingredient-based recipe search ranks results by how many of your listed ingredients each recipe needs. High-match recipes appear first, so you can spot a dish that uses six of your eight ingredients at a glance, rather than wading through results that require a full shop.

Smart ingredient matching: how it works
When you find recipes using ingredients you have at home, our matcher checks each recipe in the library against your list. It recognises common variations: “chicken breast” matches recipes that call for “chicken”, “boneless chicken”, or “chicken fillet”, so you aren’t penalised for not typing the exact term a recipe uses.
Results are filtered by diet (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free) and meal type (breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert) so you can narrow the list to exactly what you need. Every matched recipe links directly to the full guide, complete with ingredient quantities, technique notes, and a per-serving nutrition label pulled from the USDA FoodData Central database.

Frequently asked questions
How do I find recipes using ingredients I have at home?
Type the ingredients you have into the search box above, one per line or comma-separated. The finder will match them against our full recipe library and show you ranked results based on how many of your ingredients each recipe uses.
Can I filter results by diet or meal type?
Yes. Once results appear, use the filter panel to narrow by diet (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free) and by meal type (breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, snack). Filters can be combined.
What if a recipe needs one ingredient I don't have?
Results are ranked by match percentage, not by exact matches only. A recipe that uses 9 of your 10 listed ingredients will still appear, just slightly lower than a perfect match. You can often substitute a missing ingredient or simply add one item to your next shop.
Are the recipes tested?
Every recipe on NutriForks is tested and written from scratch by our team. You get real ingredient quantities, clear step-by-step instructions, accurate cook times, and a full nutrition breakdown per serving. Not scraped or AI-generated content.
